Karst Cave Tour

Adults: $100 per person/minimum 2 people, Groups 3+ $75 each

Departure times: 10am to 2 pm - trip takes about 3 or 4 hours

Experience Michigan's premier karst cave in Trout Lake, located about an hour from Hessel where you will meet your guide. View formations, natural arches and an underground waterfall (so, yes, you will be walking through about 1ft of chilly water). Walk trails featuring a variety of sinkholes and beautiful hardwood forests.  Historic limestone quarry remains nearby revealing limestone bedrock and historic buildings.  Trip is offered June-September. The cave tends to be cool, which is refreshing from the summer heat!

Guided trip includes: Helmet, headlamp, and donation to Michigan Karst Conservancy.  You bring extra shoes/knee boots and spare set clothes, and any extra personal light sources.
